A recent article from Cosmopolitan magazine asked how to find an exotic spa that provides a $10,000 spa treatment for the price of a $500 spa.
“You can have the same spa in a different city, but the spa’s location will be a little different,” said Samantha Burchill, a certified spa assistant at Cloud Beauty Spa, who specializes in exotic spa treatments.
The article also offered tips for deciding whether to go to a spa in your area.
For example, if you want to get a facial, a luxury spa treatment can be cheaper, but it will take up more space and take longer to do.
Other recommendations included a private room, a spa with a private bath, or a spa where you pay for your treatment.
You should also be sure to check out their spa policies to make sure that your treatments are free of charge, as they may offer more special treatments like acupuncture and laser hair removal.
Burchill also suggested that if you are visiting from out of state, you can get a spa treatment from a local spa, as long as you are on your way to your destination.
Cosmopolitan says that it does not endorse specific spa treatments and that it is a reader-driven review site.
