Edmonton, Alta.

— Canada’s largest beauty spa, the Metro Beauty Spa, is set to open its doors to the public this weekend.

The facility, which is currently operating in the downtown area, will open for business on Saturday, Nov. 10.

It will be the largest of its kind in North America, said Jennifer Mowat, the CEO of the Metro’s parent company, Metrotask.

“The facilities that we have here in Edmonton have the capacity to serve about 20,000 people a day,” she said.

“We have more capacity than many of the other beauty schools around the world.”

Metrotask’s first two-year-old beauty school in Winnipeg opened in 2009.

It is now the largest in North American with a capacity of around 40,000 students, according to its website.

Mowat said it has been a challenge to scale the program up and to attract new students.

“It is a challenging thing to do and we have a lot of challenges along the way,” she added.

“To make it work, we have had to make a lot more commitments to the schools than we were expecting.

We have had the biggest and biggest renovations in the whole facility, from the classrooms to the bathrooms, from reception to everything.”

The Metro Beauty School has been closed since 2015.

In addition to renovations to its classrooms, there are new classrooms, offices, and a full-time lab.

Mowa said the new facilities, which are located at the Metro Centre Mall and have a total of seven floors, have a capacity to accommodate over 30,000 patients.

Mitch Pfeiffer, the general manager of the Metropolitan Beauty School, said the changes were necessary for the school to move forward and expand to other locations.

“There is always a lot that we can do, especially when we have to move around a lot,” Pfeiffser said.

“[The renovations] make the school a lot safer.

We can do more with less.”

The first two years of the school opened in January and were closed to the general public.

However, a new two-floor gym, the Sky Gym, opened in March.

The gym features a fitness centre, fitness room, and gymnasium.

“We are a new school, we are a very small school and we need to really invest in everything to be successful,” said Pferesser.

The school is also making improvements to the surrounding area.

“I think it’s a good place to expand the gym, but we have more to do to make sure that we are providing a safe environment.”

As part of the renovations, the school has created a “community” of community volunteers to run the gymnasia, which will be used to accommodate more than 30,00 students during the opening weekend.

“That’s really good for students and for the staff, to be able to come and take advantage of the facilities,” said Mowas.

“When you have to work at a new facility, it’s really challenging to come in and take a break and just hang out.

You need to do a lot in your first two weeks, and then you get a chance to build some relationships with other people.”

Mowas added that she has been impressed by the new environment the school created.

“There are a lot people who are new here and who are just curious about what the students can do,” she explained.

“They come to see the facilities, they come to use the facilities.

It’s great for the whole school and it’s great to be a part of it.”
